The Stewardess Diet

This diet has many names: The Stewardess Diet, TWA diet,  flight attendant diet, the Mayo clinic diet…  It consists of protein, fruits and vegetables. Follow the daily menu and remember to drink a lot of water throughout the diet! It’s good for getting your metabolism working and keeping the feeling of hunger away. You can go through the TWA diet twice in a row, but after that you must take a a break of at least three months.

Here is the 4 day wonder diet menu plan, day by day.

Day 1
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit and black coffee or tea (no sweetener or creamer)
Lunch: Broiled steak, lettuce & tomato salad (no dressing), one small apple.
Dinner: 2 hard-boiled eggs, green beans, 1 grapefruit.

Day 2
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit and black coffee or tea (no sweetener or creamer)
Lunch: Pork chop, lettuce salad (no dressing), 6 oz. tomato juice.
Dinner: Cauliflower, squash, green beans, 6 oz. applesauce.

Day 3
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit and black coffee or tea (no sweetener or creamer)
Lunch: Hamburger patty, celery & lettuce salad (no dressing), one small apple.
Dinner: Broiled chicken, stewed tomatoes, 6 oz. prune juice.

Day 4
Breakfast: 1/2 grapefruit and black coffee or tea (no sweetener or creamer)
Lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs, green beans, 6 oz. pineapple juice.
Dinner: Broiled steak, lettuce & tomato salad (no dressing), 6 oz. tomato juice.

The 3 Day Diet

The 3 day diet promises extremely fast weight loss, up to 10 pounds in 3 days. People that use the 3 day diet are often lead to believe that the specific types of food will cause the metabolism in their body to react in a certain way. However, there is no proof of that and most of the weight loss will be due to water loss, most likely there is no magic behind it.
Here is the plan for your 3 day diet,day by day.

Day 1

Breakfast:  Black coffee or tea, 1/2 grapefruit or juice, 1 piece of toast with 1 tablespoon peanut butter
Lunch: 1/2 cup tuna, 1 piece of toast, black coffee or tea
Dinner: 3 ounces any lean meat or chicken, 1 cup green beans, 1 cup carrots, 1 apple, 1 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 2
Breakfast:  Black coffee or tea,  1 egg, 1/2 banana, 1 piece toast
Lunch:  1 cup cottage cheese or tuna, 8 regular saltine crackers
Dinner: 2 beef franks, 1 cup broccoli or cabbage, 1/2 cup carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream

Day 3
Breakfast: Black coffee or tea, 5 regular saltine crackers, 1 ounce cheddar cheese, 1 apple
Lunch: Black coffee or tea, 1 boiled egg, 1 piece toast
Dinner: 1 cup tuna, 1 cup carrots, 1 cup cauliflower, 1 cup melon, 1/2 cup regular vanilla ice cream
In addition to the strict daily food prescription, dieters drink at least 4 cups of water or noncaloric drinks daily.

The Cabbage Soup Diet

The cabbage soup diet makes you drastically cut your caloric intake and fill your body with low calorie vegetables and fruits, which makes losing weight quickly easy. The cabbage soup diet claims that the more cabbage soup you eat, the more weight you will lose. The diet plan involves a seven day process, and there are certain foods to eat every day. The diet is simple and inexpensive to follow, and it can be a good starting point to weight loss.

To be successful with this diet you have to follow it carefully. Drink a lot of water throughout the diet. No bread, alcohol, or carbonated beverages, not even diet soda. This is a rare fast diet: you can try to implement intuitive eating while on the quick diet, because you are supposed to eat as much soup as you need to not be hungry. Try different spices to add variety to it. Consider taking a multivitamin tablet every day (or according to the instructions) to get all the vitamins you need even during dieting.

Cabbage soup diet recipe
- 1 head cabbage, shredded or chopped
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 green peppers
- 6 sliced carrots
- 4 stalks celery
- 16-28 ounces canned tomatoes, chopped
- 1-2 packages Lipton onion soup mix, or any dry onion soup mix (optional)
- black pepper
- any fresh herb(s) of your choice, chopped (optional)
- 1/2 pound green beans, sliced on diagonal
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar (optional)

Directions:
Put all vegetables in a big pot and cover them with water. Bring to a boil, stir in the soup mix if desired and let the soup boil for 10 minutes. Cover and simmer on low heat until all the vegetables are soft. Stir in the black pepper and chopped herbs (saving some for garnish).

The 7 days diet plan
You get to eat as much soup as you want during the 7-days period. There are some specific foods which must be eaten on each day of the program, including potatoes, fruit juice, vegetables and beef.

Day One
Eat as much soup as you like. On top of that you get to eat all the fruit you want except banana. Drink unsweetened tea or black coffee, water and cranberry juice.

Day Two
Eat as much soup as you like but no fruits today. Day Two is vegetable day – fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables of your choice except dry beans, peas, and sweet corn. You can reward yourself with a big baked potato with butter for dinner.

Day Three
Eat as much soup as you like and as much fruit and vegetables you want to. No baked potato today.

Day Four
Eat as much soup as you like and as many as 8 bananas. Drink as much of skim milk as you want. This day is supposed to lessen your desire for sweets.

Day Five
Eat the soup at least once on day five. You may have a large tin or up to 6 fresh tomatoes and 10-20 ounces of beef (300-500g). Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water. If you want, you can substitute broiled fish or broiled or baked chicken (skinless) for the beef.

Day Six
Eat the soup at least once, and beef and vegetables. You can have 2 or 3 steaks with fresh vegetables or salad.

Day Seven
Eat the soup at least once, and eat all you want of brown rice, vegetables and unsweetened fruit juices.
